Abstract

Aim. To analyze the fundamental documents regulating the development of traditional medicine in the Russian Federation and globally. To describe the transformation of traditional views and terminology in traditional medicine, as well as current opportunities for digitalization of health assessment and monitoring.
Methods. Review of WHO strategic policies on traditional medicine for the period 1978 to 2026. Analysis of documents from the Russian Ministry of Health. Analysis of the dynamics of terminology and concepts in traditional medicine, included in WHO publications and specialized forums at various levels. Participation in global forums on traditional medicine.
Results. Implementation of current terminology of traditional medicine, development of development directions in accordance with the Global Strategy for Traditional Medicine 2025-2034. Proposal of a proprietary concept for the conventionalization of traditional medicine methods.
